  25 bore; 8" oct damascus barrel; top barrel flat marked LONDON in gold; single gold band to breech; plain stepped lock plate marked KETLAND & CO; fitted with a re-enforced cock & rollers to the frizzen & gold touch hole; silver acorn finial t/guard with sml amount of floral engraving, also on lhs sml oval silver plaque with sml lettering WA; g. profiles & clear markings; pleasing lt brown patina to barrel; lock plate has signs of artificial colouring; soft silver patina to t/guard; vg stock with vacant shield escutcheon & carved shell motif at the rear of the barrel tang; all complete with a silver tipped r.rod; gwo & vg cond. C.1770's.
