  Australian Colonial Issue British 1890 Patt Cavalry Sword
  34½" slightly curved blade with single fullers, a few marks of lt staining, particularly near the ricasso; issue date of 1892 War Dept stamps & N.X. near the base of the blade; sheet steel guard with turned down rim & pierced Maltese Cross to the centre, also marked N.S.W. G. over C over 679 over 98; grey patina to guard with patchy sections; vg orig chequered hard rubber grips; complete with matching numbered steel scabbard & v. scarce sword frog to fit to the saddle of the Trooper; all complete.
