  vg 33" blade with minor staining; etched with acanthus leaves & marked VOLUNTEER INFANTRY SA & Imperial Crown; ricasso marked WILKINSON PALL MALL LONDON; Wilkinson number 27800 to back edge of blade; obverse side has acanthus leaves, VR & ROYAL CYPHER; brass guard inset with ROYAL CYPHER; vg fish skin grips bound with copper wire; complete with brass scabbard.
