  Headed “Roads Establishment Oatlands” the handwritten “pass” for Convict Alfred Stallard [H.M.S. “Bardaster”, in 1835; 7 years for larceny], to leave the road-gang at Oatlands to proceed to Ross, where he had been assigned to work for Mr Hugh Robertson, a prominent landowner there.
