  Tasmania Illustrated with photographs by Anson Bros. Tasmania. Tourist album showcasing photographs of local Tasmanian attractions and establishments made for the Bush Hotel, Hobart circa 1880. Attractively bound in leather with gold embossing. Business advertisements include local stationers, chemists & druggists, jewellers & watchmakers, glovers & clothiers, dentists, tobacconists etc. Photographs include Cascade Brewery, Mt. Wellington from St. George’s Hill, Hobart Town from Limekiln Hill, Horse Shoe Bridge, Supreme Court, Post Office, coaching scenes, Battery Point, wharf scenes and Westella Mansion etc. with the second half showing Launceston scenes. Total of 86 photographs, mainly 10 x 17.5 cm some larger, largest being 15 x 18 cm.
