• Notes:
  Rare: a summary geographical account of Australasia (and Oceania) in the series Neueste Lander-und Volkerkunde. Notable for its fine maps and beautifully re-engraved views of scenes, natives, and natural history of Australia and the South Seas. The main sources are Baudin and Collins, but one can also identify images drawn from D’Entrecasteaux, Crozet, and Bougainville. Bagnall, 3152 (1820 Prague edition only); Ferguson, 610; see Perry and Prescott, 1814.21, 1815.02, and 1815.03.
