    NORM O’NEILL’S AUSTRALIAN “BAGGY GREEN” TEST CAP
    green wool, embroidered Australian Coat-of-Arms & “1959-60” on front, Farmer’s label inside marked “9/59 N.O’Neill”.
  • Provenance:
    Provenance: Ex Sid O’Linn (South Africa 7 Tests 1960-61).
  • Notes:
    Norman O’Neill played 42 Tests 1958-65. Early in his career O’Neill was one of the foremost batsman in the Australian team, scoring three Test centuries and topping the run scoring aggregates on a 1959-60 tour of the Indian subcontinent which helped Australia win it’s last Test and series on Pakistani soil for 39 years, as well as another series win in India.
