Lot Description:An English walnut eight day longcase clock, circa 1720 and later
the arching hood surmounted by a caddy top with brass finials, having a silvered chapter ring, inscribed 'Isaac Papauoine/Dukes Court/London', with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic for the minutes, with date aperture, subsidiary second dial, gilt spandrels surrounded by a wheat sheaf border, surmounted by a sun in the arch, flanked by reeded columns, the case with ebony and boxwood strung arching door, supported on a stepped plinth base
