Lot Description:A French bronze and gilt bronze mantel clock, circa 1870
the bronze surmount depicting a mother and two cherubic children, one holding an open book and the other a portrait in relief, resting on a latticework gilt bronze base, the clock with twin barrel movement and rack striking to bell, the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numeral chapter rings, signed DENIERE/Ft de bronzes/ A PARIS, within a surround of applied garlands, C-scrolls, flowers and foliage
