  A George V silver two-handled cup and cover in Regency style
  ovoid shape raised on circular spreading foot and with a tapering conical cover surmounted by squat ball finial, two loop handles issue from the shoulder with acanthus leaf mounts, fluted fan pattern decorates the lower half of the body and the cover. The cup engraved ‘Ohinemutu Hack Hdc’p Cup, Rotorua Racing Club, ............1926, Presented by the Te Ngati Whakaue Tribe..........’, won by Hangawera ridden by the famous jockey Larry Wiggins, rider of 946 winners in N.Z. With related newspaper clippings and images of the winner and presentation. 885gms. Height 330.
