  A c.1900 Chinese silver Republic period enamel and gilt fancy tea caddy
  octagonal lobed cylindrical form with conforming domed lid, relief wheat sheath decoration with yellow enamelled seed heads, the stems mounted with cabochon turquoise beads, radiating further beads to the lid, removable plain cylindrical lining, most all-over gilt wash remaining, fine wire mesh body. The base embossed ‘Silver’. 381gms. Height 130.
