  Howitt worked and lived on the Hardey family property in Western Australia for 6 years completing a suite of impressively carved furniture, ornaments and panels. The Hardey family are one of the early pioneering families of Western Australia dating back to 1830. Howitt’s work is represented in the Western Australian Gallery .
