Lot Description:An early 20thC Maori Folk Art carved walking stick
the handle as a portrait bust of a Maori gent, incised and stained black detail including moko, the shaft with 2/3rds carved plaited rope design, original brass cap to base tip. Reputedly Te Arawa carved from the Bay of Plenty. Length 920. -
