  'Haut à Courroies' leather handles Hermes branded brass clasp-plate opening to a leather interior approximately 55cm wide. Lock missing. The Haut à Courroies (H.A.C.) was created in the late 19th century to transport riding boots and saddles and later inspired the design of the iconic Birkin handbag which was introduced in 1984.
