A massive Japanese mid 20thC carved wooden Ainu bear
he stands on a base of large waves with one paw raised and open snarling mouth, dark and pale finish. Carved by the Ainu craftsman in Hokkaido, Northeast region of Japan, a traditional folkcraft of Japan?s indigenous people.Minor damage. 900 x 800 x 1030.
