• Notes:
  Aboriginal Arts Australia was one of the network of galleries funded by the federal government to market indigenous art in the 1980s. The vendor is the original purchaser, he is an internationally renowned composer and was at the time in Melbourne as the director of the Musica Viva program at the Arts Centre. He lives in the USA. The painting was produced by the artist in Mount Allen where he was living at the time, also known as Napperby Station and sold to the Alice Springs gallery for Aboriginal Arts Australia where Daphne Wallace was the manager.
