Purple, red, ochre and gold marbled endpapers. Mild wear to binding. Corners bumped. Mild foxing to contents. Stamp of J Scott Thomson, Wakari, Dunedin, on several pages. The 50 plates feature 80 species, the accompanying text being more detailed than that of the first edition. A truly exquisite set. G+ to VG. [2].
