Collection includes notes by C L Thomas from Colenso papers in the Hocken Collection, a letter written by A G Bagnall to C L Thomas concerning diaries lent to the former by the latter, transcript of an article from the 'Hawke's Bay herald' concerning J D Hooker and Colenso, and transcripts of several letters written by Colenso to W J Hooker and Colenso's nephew.
