Some wear, soiling and foxing. Embossed mark of W H Smith & Son Library on front free endpaper. Signature of P Marshall on half title and title pages. Signature of J Barclay Clark, MD, on title page. Crawford, ex-naval officer and amateur geologist, arrived in Port Nicholson in 1839 from Sydney, acquired land on Miramar Peninsula and was prominent in local affairs. G.
