  embossed to the lid with an armorial of two stylised standing lions framing am oval cartouche surmounted by a crown, conforming sides, the brass push-button release revealing an ebony lined interior. Birmingham 1892 by Horton & Allday, noted box makers. 115 x 80 x 45.
