  A Jezail Flintlock Musket
  circa 1820. Octagonal barrel flared at tip, 3 barrel bands, 2 brass & 1 steel. Wood stock has broken away towards the front but has been magnificently inlaid along full length and is a great example of such a period piece; with inlaid curved butt with carved wooden detail, early period steel Flintlock mechanism and trigger guard. This is a nice well made piece that has seen a hard life with some old repairs. Great old wall hanger. 56 cal.
