    knee hole configuration with compartmentalised drawers to base, 26 drawers in total, hand made, 146cm W x 38cm D x 79cm H
  • Provenance:
    Owned & used by the artist George Alphonse Collingridge De Tourcy 'The hermit of Berowra', artist & engraver, 1847-1931; later used by his son Joseph Collingridge, (postmaster Hornsby) for stamps, notable markings incl. pokerwork kangaroo, caricature & pokerwork titles to drawers such as sketches, lithos etc, mostly in French.
