  A pair of hardstone inlaid hardwood boxes and covers, 19th/20th century
  each of rectangular form, the fitted cover inlaid in mother of pearl and various coloured hardstones with a vase of prunus, pine and peony, a jar of 'ruyi' sceptres, a basket with a carp among lotus and 'lingzhi', and a spray of lotus, the recessed panel within a key-fret border, the dark wood resembling zitan (4)
