    A well executed commemorative bronze plaque celebrating the capture of the City of Rome
    by the American Fifth Army under the command of Major General Mark Clark in June 1944, depicting troops and tanks before the Colosseum and Arch of Constantine. 240 x 200. Note: Although criticised for disobeying the orders of his Commander British General Harold Alexander, Clark was successful. Had he not been so his war may well have ended less than gloriously.
