    A Rare Huanghuali Chinese Rectangular Open Shelves
    Late Qing Dynasty, 19th Century The shelves are well crafted and cleverly balanced, with each shelf interlocking, they would have been purpose designed, especially for the display of porcelain or rare objects. Suitable to sit on a raised platform or hang on a wall. The design element are two everted flanges.
