  A Bronze Elephant Carrying a Guanyin
  in cloisonne sitting on elaborately decorated cloisonne blanket. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. The elderly Guanyin is riding side saddle and has a hand resting on one knee, the other hand outstretched holding a lotus flower. The elephant trunk is up and the tail is tucked behind the back leg. The bejewelled elephant is well rendered and decorated with tassels for a procession. On a stand. [2]
