Lot Description:A Rare Large Example of a Stoneware, Glazed & Decorated, Thai bowl
with Original lid. Sawankhalok, 14-15th century. The circular bowl with panels of continuous leafing vine, between vertical stripes and cross hatching all in underglaze blue. The original lid with the same design, then a double row or raised triangles, picked out in brown glaze. Condition: excellent, Ayutthaya Period [1350-1767]. Fitted box.
