Lot Description:Sasaki Niroku (1857-1935) of Niroku-yaki Clivia in Bud with Green Frond.
Meiji Period [1868 - 1912] Stoneware glazed, modelled and painted realistically. Signed with two artist's seals to the rear. Tomobako or original artist signed wooden storage box.

Notes:Condition: small losses to edges of leaves. Other Notes: Niroku Pottery was founded in 1887 in Ehime Prefecture. The artist works true to nature and 8 or 9 examples of his work are included in the Imperial Collection.
