  A Chinese carved ivory tusk
  natural curved form, polished finish, the central long panel finely detailed in relief with a phoenix bird and sinuous dragon all amongst clouds with mystic pearl to the centre. The cap end with red stained calligraphic symbols. Length 680, weight approx. 1.5kgs, raised on a carved hardwood stand with rectangular plinth base.
