  An old hardwood small trunk
  reputedly from the historic sailing ship, 'Boyd', the hinged lid requiring repair, the brass recessed handles removed, dovetail joint construction, probably made of Jara. 575 x 310 x 300.
• Provenance:
  Given to our vendor about 20 years ago by an elderly couple who said it was brought to N.Z. on the 'Boyd', then discarded to his garden shed until he chanced upon the book 'The Burning of The Boyd', a copy of that book included with this lot.
