Lot Description:A silvered-bronze mounted night and day figural clock, French, circa 1925
moulded and inscribed Edition Pomone, Raoul Lamourdedieu, Alex Rudier Fondeur, Paris

Notes:Raoul Eugène Lamourdedieu, Born & died in the same village, Fauguerolles (Lot-et-Garonne) He was a sculptor and medal maker and received the title, Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneu. Pomona was the art department at Bonne Marche, Paris run by Paul Follot. The marble base features an engraved sun forming the clock face & metal hands, the crescents of the moon.
