Lot Description:POSTCARDS & SILKS: 11 Postcards (WW1 period) sent from Thomas John Koenig of Gippsland (Jumbuck) to family back home
6 of the cards have photo portraits of Koenig & other soldiers. Of note is a card showing a captured German gun where Koenig refers to having 'Pinched' the card. accompanied by a 'Souvenir of Egypt' silk & 3 silk embroidered cards. -
