addressed to 'Mr Wm. Carney / Post Office / Castlemaine', franked with a pair of 1d green imperf. Emblems tied by Barred Numeral '3' and with two (1 very fine) strikes of the unframed 'ADVERTISED / AND / UNCLAIMED' h/stamp. Dated by the Castlemaine Crown Oval h/stamp on the reverse. A delightful cover.
