• Provenance:
  Purchased: Alan Landis Antiques, 1979, originally bought at an exhibition of Australian Silver in which it was catalogue number A59 and listed as dated circa 1880-1890.
• Notes:
  "Hawkins book on Australian Silver says that Brunckhorst was noted for his simple lines in Art Nouveau manner and this piece seems to fit that general style well".
