Notes:The Salters Company is one of the 12 great livery companies of London, ranked 9th in order of precedence. Their origins were in the salt trade of medieval London; now they are a charitable organisation, focusing on chemistry. The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company was established in 1880 at 112 Regent Street. They amalgamated with Garrards in 1952.
