  A pair of old Chinese large carved ivory guardian figures
  the pair in formal armour including chain mail, each with a long bladed weapon, representing guardians of the celestial realm, black stained detail, each raised on a tapered and carved rectangular hardwood stand. Repair to hair strand of one, a loss to the other. Height of ivory only 285mm.
