  Books On Kimono Designs (2)
  [Kimono Designs] An album titled 'Tachibana' [citrus] Kyoto, for Akiba Gofukuten, Taisho period c.1918. 2050 full-page colour lithograph plates, some with metallic inks, oban size 38 x 26cms, all printed recto only, in publisher's cloth covered boards with two two-hole cord ties and title label. Some light offset browning to blank versos of plates. A very good copy.The designs are by Daika Shoten of the in-house design studio. The general design theme seems to be around rivers and boats; [Kimono Designs] An album titled 'Kangiku' [Chinese aster] Kyoto, for Akiba Gofukuten, Taisho 8, (1919)50 colour lithograph plates, some with metallic inks, oban size 38 x 26cms, all printed recto only, in publisher's cloth covered boards with two two-hole cord ties and title label. Some light offset browning to blank versos of plates, and some very faint spotting to the dark background colour of some plates.
