HABERT-DYS, J[ules-Auguste]. Fantaisies Decoratives. Documents pour servir a la decoration des Faiences, Meubles, Tissus, Bijoux, appartements, etc. .... Quarante-huit planches renfermant environ deux cents motifs. Paris, Librairie de l'Art, n.d. [1887] 48 chromolithograph plates heightened with gold, on cream paper, mounted on heavy white paper, (4)pp. title and list of plates. Some light marginal foxing to first 6 and last 2 plates. Folio, loose as issued in publisher's portfolio, illustrated boards, cloth spine neatly rebacked. An uncommon folio of proto-art nouveau designs for ceramics, furniture, textiles, wall and ceiling decoration &c., much influenced by Japanese art, superbly printed by Gillot. Originally issued in 12 parts 1886-7. -
