Numerous illustrations by Shepard, (12),103,(1)pp., 8vo., red cloth with a gilt vignette on both boards, slight rubbing on tips and spine ends. A couple of very minor signs of use internally. A very good copy. A neat owner's signature (adult, 1927) on top corner of front flyleaf; [RASPE, Rudolph E.] The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. From the Best English and German Editions. With illustrations... by A.Bichard. London, Frederick Warne and Co., n.d. [1880's] 4 full-page chromolitho plates including frontis., viii,104pp., large 4to., 325 x 230mm., chromolitho boards, red cloth spine somewhat faded and nibbled. The vivid illustrated front cover is in near fine condition without rubbing, and internally the book is clean and crisp. An excellent copy.
