To which are added some Letters written by Mr. George Herbert, at his being in Cambridge: with others to his Mother, the Lady Magdalen Herbert, written by John Donne, afterwards Dean of St. Pauls, London, Printed by Tho. Newcomb for Richard Marriott, ...1670, 4 engraved portraits, (14),88,79,(1),56,77-140,104pp., [A2-8, lacking initial blank A1, A8 is a blank leaf,B-F8,G4,A4,B-E8,F4,A4,B-H8,A-F8,G4], short water stain in inner margin of first gathering, paper flaw in p.1[B1] of second gathering, red specklrd edges, 8vo., late 18th cent. speckled calf with gilt roll border, worn and sometime [early 20th cent.?] re-cornered and rebacked in calf gilt with raised bands, a little rubbed and now stabilised with leather dressing. Internally a nice copy. -
