Edition of 550, signed by Bates. No.2 of the Furnival Books; H.E.BATES. [John Nash], Flowers and Faces, Golden Cockerel Press, 1935, 4 full-page wood engravings and title border by John Nash, 52,(2)pp., large 8vo., 1/4 green morocco and marbled boards, binding by Sangorski and Sutcliffe. Edition of 325, signed by Bates. A nice copy; [ Robert GIBBINGS ] MATHERS, E.Powys, Red Wise, The Golden Cockerel Press, 1925, 8 wood engravings by Robert Gibbings, (3 full-page), (8),98,(4)pp., patterned endpapers, partly unopened, small private bookplate on front pastedown, 8vo.,quarter white cloth and red paper boards. Very good copy without dustwrapper. No.210 of an edition of 500.
