  An 18thC English longcase clock by William Vincent of York
  the brass dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and day dial to the arched pediment with ‘Silent Strike’ engraved to the arch, engraved birds and scrolls enclosed to the centre along with maker’s name, decorative applied ormolu mounts to the outer, the tall mahogany case with brass grilled panels to the hood with stepped pediment, plain columns, all above the long arched door and base with moulded detail. Recently overhauled, eight-day movement. Height 2275.
