Lot Description:A fine Japanese mixed metal presentation box, Meiji period, 1868-1912
the silver box with a bronze and shakudo plate on the cover, inlaid with a heron in silver and gold and signed 'Toshimasa', the silver box signed by Miyamoto Shoko (Imperial family silversmith), lined with zitan wood.

Provenance:Presented to and inscribed on the inside 'Mr William Parsons'.
