  the plateau of oblong shape with gadrooned rim and husk mouldings at each corner supporting a single cut crystal inkwell with a hinged silver cover and with a trough to hold a pen, raised on four splay legs. Birmingham 1899 by Hunt & Roskill Ltd. Width 225.
