Lot Description:A Japanese hexaptych ukiyo-e by Toyonovu Utagawa (1859-1866)
a rare six sheet composition, ‘Shinsen Taiko Ki’ (Cherry Blossom Viewing). Hideyoshi (the later ruler of Japan) and Yodo-Gimi enjoying the cherry blossom picnic with their consorts. Framed and glazed. 2310 x 345. -
