  H.Simpson DSO Miniature Medals etc. Inc. 5 medals & 6 service bars; HMSS Napkin ring engraved with names of ships in which he completed his service, from HMS Britannia in 1900 to HMS Cambrian in 1929; HMSS card case with engraving '2nd prize, 1/2 mile, S.H. Simpson, HMS Britannia 1901;' & HMSS cigarette case, with dedication to S.H.S. Commander Simpson won his DSO in August 1917 for service against enemy submarines, and 6 months later was again decorated with a Bar of the Order. Other details of his service are included in an attached newspaper clipping.
