Lot Description:A William IV silver lancet case
mildly tapered rectangular form, geometric machine engraved, the removable lid with ribbed band revealing two mother-of-pearl handled and steel bladed lancets named Savigny & Co. Birmingham 1834 by Taylor & Perry. Note: a lancet is a medical cutting instrument with a double-edged blade. -
