  c1889. Quater bound, green cloth with gilt title. Front cover virtually detached. Hinges reinforced on lower board. Stamp of 'C C Armstrong Fern Artist' to pastedowns. Names either mounted at head of pages or handwritten. Paper guards with wear and foxing. Twenty arrangements. Some small losses to ferns. Armstrong won prize medals for her New Zealand ferns.'Wife of Charles Clark Armstrong, hotel proprietor in Dunedin 1861?-1886 before returning to Melbourne, her herbarium is in the Botanical Museum and Herbarium, Copenhagen.' - Bagnall.
