  A Chinese Zitan wood boxed ink stone
  rounded oval form, the lid with mother-of-pearl inlay and coral highlights revealing the conforming shaped ink stone with circular shallow inkwell, the flat surface dominated with rows of calligraphy. Further calligraphy to the reverse, the base with short small lug feet. 205 x 160 x 60.
