Lot Description:A Meissen Porcelain 'Purple Indian' Part Dinner Service, Late 19th Century
comprising: a seven-light candelabrum raised on tri-form floral encrusted base with three cherubs playing musical instruments, the vase shaped stem painted with floral sprays and encrusted flowers, the six branches similarly decorated; a large oval, reticulated basket with scrolling branch handles and painted and encrusted floral motifs, a smaller similar oval basket, a large oval platter, a two-handle, double lip sauceboat on stand, a square low bowl and twelve plates (25cm), all decorated in various shades of pink and purple to white ground, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords (18)
